Egg, sperm and embryo banking is similar to financial banking, whereby the samples are banked at Sunfert IVF laboratory until later use. Sunfert IVF employs the state-of-the-art method in freezing the eggs, sperm and embryos which produces high survival after thaw rate. The IVF laboratory also houses samples from couples with Hepatitis, however, their samples are stored in different storage tanks in order to safeguard samples which are disease-free.

Egg and Sperm Donation Programme

When either the male or female partner is unable to produce eggs or sperm for fertility treatments, Sunfert IVF can assist you in getting a suitable egg or sperm donor.

As for egg donation, the donor’s eggs are retrieved after ovarian hyperstimulation and are then fertilized by conventional IVF or ICSI. The resulting embryo(s) is(are) then replaced into the female partner’s uterus allowing the woman to carry the child to term.

In contrary, if the male partner is infertile, the couple can opt to choose a sperm donor from our profiles for fertility treatments. It involves fertilization of the female partner’s egg(s) with sperm sample from the sperm donor. Resulting embryo(s) is(are) then replaced into the female partner’s womb.
