Dr Eeson trained in Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom andcomplete two fellowship trainings in Reproductive Medicine. The first at St. George's Hospital London after which he returned to Malaysia and perfected his skills as Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in public practice which led to his appointment as Hospital Ampang’s founding Head of Department for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, where he remained until 2009.
He furthered his sub-speciality interest in Reproductive Medicine at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia before leaving for Singapore’s KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital for his second fellowship training. He returned to Malaysia in 2012 and was appointed as Consultant O&G at Hospital Kuala Lumpur until he left for private practice at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Dr Eeson has always been an active council member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM) for many years, and has been appointed as the Society’s President-Elect from 2017 to 2018. He has also authored the highly informational book on “Overcoming Fertility” published by MPH Parenting Series.
As Sunfert International’s Medical Director, Dr Eeson is well known among patients for his friendly approach, while members of the staff loves and appreciates his clever humour. He eats to live and in his past time, loves to read what others write.

Dr Lim graduated with honours from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (India) in 1999 and proceeded with postgraduate specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK which she obtained in 2006. After 10 years of public service with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dr Lim ran a thriving private practice before joining Sunfert International to realise her dreams of helping couples facing sub-fertility.
She obtained her Certificate in Reproductive Technology from the National University of Singapore and with her keen interest in Minimal Access Surgery, went on to complete her fellowship training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in India.
Warm and caring, Dr Lim is a mother of four lovely daughters and a full-time vegan. She is an active member of the Tzu-Chi International Medical Association and finds time volunteering efforts with refugee camps, outreach medical missions and free clinics for the underprivileged.

Dr Norazlin obtained her bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Glasgow in 2000. She continued on with her postgraduate studies from the Royal College of O&Gs, UK and went on to the National University Hospital of Singapore for her postgraduate in Assisted Reproductive Techniques. She practiced at several reputable state-owned hospitals in the UK and Brunei for more than 5 years before returning to Malaysia where she served in public practice as Consultant O&G in Hospital Sungai Buloh until her residency at Sunfert International.
Her interest is in mild stimulation IVF protocols and IVF in low resource setting. Dr Norazlin also holds sessions at Kasih Fertility Specialist Clinic, a CSR-based clinic model, where she finds fulfilment in treating couples facing sub-fertility.
Dr Norazlin’s calm and collected demure shades her zest for life and very much loves trampolining with her children.

Dr Sumithra obtained her medical degree from the University of Andalas in West Sumatra, Indonesia and was in government service when she pursued her Master of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of Malaya in 2007. A recipient of the Excellence in Service Award 2008 by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dr Sumithra earned her second Master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
She obtained her Fellowships in Reproductive Medicine from several notable institutions locally and abroad including Fertility Associates of New Zealand and continued to practice as an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist in Kuala Lumpur Hospital before joining Sunfert International.
An active presenter of her work in both national and international O&G conferences, Dr Sumithra’s biggest joy comes from helping her patients attain parenthood. She is a voracious reader and simply adores cats.

Dr Wong has more than eighteen years of experience in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He obtained a Fellowship in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine from the London Fertility Centre and is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG). While in UK, he was also attached to the Royal Free Hospital (London) in Minimal Access Surgery, where he honed his skills in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic reproductive surgery.
Upon his return from the UK in 2003, he has worked in several IVF centres before founding Sunfert International in 2009 from ground-up. Sunfert International is currently a leading fertility group in Malaysia, performing over 1500 IVF cycles annually in its 5 centres.
Dr Wong was actively involved in the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia and held the post of the Honorary Secretary from 2009-2010. He presents his work regularly at conferences in the field of Reproductive Medicine both local and abroad.
Dr Wong is the key driver behind Sunfert International’s success and a leading opinion leader in fertility in Malaysia. His current interest is in embryo selection while incorporating the latest developments in morphokinetic markers and pre-implantation genetics into patient care.
A nature-loving person at heart, Dr Wong is a keen aquarist who loves the great outdoors and enjoys bird-watching.

Dr. Mak obtained his medical degree from Mangalore University, Karnataka State, India in 1994 and subsequently his postgraduate specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK in 1998. Dr. Mak who has been a Fertility Specialist since 2002, has vast experience in managing couples with conception difficulties. A very friendly and approachable doctor with a balanced outlook of life, he joined Sunfert International in 2009 and plays a key role in maintaining Sunfert International’s high success rates and excellent patient care. Apart from his daily clinical work, he is an active participant and contributor to various research, and attends international and local conferences to keep abreast of the current development in reproductive health.

Dr Teow graduated from University of Malaya in 1988 and obtained his Masters of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same university in 1995. Having practiced in public and private hospitals in Malaysia for over twenty years specialising in women’s health, his area of clinical focus lies in management of women pregnant from both natural and assisted conception, including high-risk pregnancies. He oversees Sunfert International’s pre-natal screening programmes, including tests such as first trimester screening, non-invasive chromosome screening, detailed structural anomaly scan, as well as 3D and 4D antenatal scans. Dr Teow also runs the Well Women’s clinic and manages common gynaecological problems.

Dr Dean is the Scientific Director for Fertility Associates and is a Lecturer at the University of Auckland. He is actively involved with research, focusing on in vitro stress during embryo culture, specifically, identifying sources of stress and developing improved methods for detection and prevention of factors that cause stress during preimplantation embryo culture. Dr. Morbeck is actively investigating the benefits of time-lapse imaging for improving conditions and providing better embryo selection.
Prior to joining in 2016, Dr. Morbeck spent 10 years at the Mayo Clinic and prior to that over 10 years as a laboratory director in private practice, first in Ohio and then in Minnesota. For three years (2004-2006) he functioned independently as an off-site director/consultant at several clinics across the US.

Dr. Aaron obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Genetics and Molecular Biology from University of Malaya in 2007. He is an embryologist by training and in 2009, left Malaysia to pursue a fellowship in Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) with the renowned Reproductive Genetics Institute in Chicago, United States. Upon his return to Malaysia, he worked as a PGD Scientist and has been actively involved in research in genetics-related disorders especially in thalassaemia. He was part of the team who achieved Malaysia’s first pregnancy for that was screened for alpha-thalassaemia using PGD. He has completed the Doctorate (PhD) in Biomedical Science of Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya with research areas focused on mutations in thalassaemia and DNA methylation. Throughout his candidature, he has been selected to present his work in both national and international conferences, and was awarded with the Best Oral Presenter Award in Asia Pacific Congress on Human Genetic (APCGH) in 2012. Mr. Chen heads Sunfert Genetics, the research arm of Sunfert International which focuses on research in pre-implantation genetic screening and diagnosis, particularly in thalassaemia using a new platform called Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).

Audrey obtained her Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) of Science majoring in Biology from University Putra Malaysia in 2005. She began her career as an embryologist after having trained at the KK In-Vitro Fertilisation (KKIVF) Centre while attached to the Department of Reproductive Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore in 2006. Her extensive experience covers all aspects of Artificial Reproductive Techniques (ART) including oocyte vitrification for fertility cryopreservation and specialises in Intracytoplasmic Morphologically-selected Sperm Injection (IMSI).
One whose passion is fuelled by evolving technologies in clinical embryology, Ms. Kit takes pride of her role as Sunfert International’s lead embryologist and finds it fulfilling to be able to help couples overcome their obstacles in conceiving.

Sr. Catherine is a senior state-registered nursing sister and a trained fertility counsellor with Post-Basic training in Operating Theatre Management, Malaysian Ministry of Health. She has participated in local fertility training workshops where she assisted in training other fertility counsellors. She oversees the clinical and nursing aspects of Sunfert International and is instrumental in maintaining the sterility of our operating theatres. Having excellent managerial and interpersonal skills, she has developed a strong nursing and counselling team which is the backbone of Sunfert International clinical services.

Izzati is a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Division under the purview of the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She completed her certification in Nursing from Segi University College in 2012 and started out in home nursing care. Izzati joined Sunfert International in 2014 as a fertility counsellor and has developed a strong understanding in fertility care since then. She now trains the junior nursing staff and holds regular refresher sessions on quality patient care for all nursing staff.

Having personally struggled with fertility issues in his first six years of marriage, Mr Ong is no stranger to the anxiety and stress of trying to conceive. A father of three today, Mr Ong draws inspiration from his own experiences, left his high-flying career in Engineering and dedicates himself to helping couples achieve a calm, peaceful and positive attitude during their IVF journey.
He holds a Masters in Counselling and he is a Certified Hypnotherapy Practitioner specialising in Fertility. Trained by the internationally-renowned Lynsi Eastburn, Mr Ong was certified by the US National Guild Hypnotists Board in 2009. A lifelong learner, he went on to pursue several coaching and hypnofertility certification courses locally and abroad.
As a Certified Life Coach from the Open University Malaysia, Mr Ong frequently handles relationship issues resulting from fertility challenges. He heads Sunfert Wellness, a fertility wellness support programme which synergistically complements Sunfert International’s fertility treatments.

Ivy joined Sunfert International as Centre Manager since 2012. She has over 20 years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding industries, specializing in customer service, account management and customer operations. She is in charge of the company’s finance, administration and human resources. She assists the Medical Director in managing and developing strategic human resource plans, integrating human resource management strategies and systems to achieve the overall mission, strategies, and success of the Centre.

Michelle joined Sunfert International in 2018 after 18 years within the pharmaceutical industry including consultancy work for companies in Malaysia and Japan. A science graduate majoring in biology and chemistry from Campbell University, she is also a certified Insights Discovery trainer. Michelle manages both the Business Development and Customer Service teams, leading growth strategy initiatives while ensuring that patient experience is above that.
