Sperm and Egg Donation
If you or your partner are unable to produce sperm or eggs for fertility treatment, we can assist you in getting a suitable egg or sperm donor.
If the male partner has male infertility caused by Primary Testicular Failure (defective sperm production), you may consider conceiving through donated sperm from our sperm bank. Treatment with donor sperm involves egg fertilisation using IUI or IVF. With IVF, we fertilise the egg and sperm in our lab and the resulting embryo is then placed into the womb for pregnancy to occur.
There are many reasons you may need egg donation to conceive, including ovarian failure, medical conditions or premature menopause. The process of conceiving through egg donation is similar to IVF. Once the donor’s eggs are retrieved, they are fertilised by conventional IVF or ICSI, and the resulting embryos are then placed into your womb.
All donors have been screened and are in good health.
The donor and recipient are matched as closely as possible, taking into account physical characteristics and blood group. The donation is reserved for non-muslims only.
