Dr Mohd Faizal
Visiting Specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Oncofertility
Dr. Mohd Faizal Bin Ahmad is a clinical specialist and lecturer of Obstetrician & Gynaecology in Hospital Canselor Tuanku Mukhriz Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HCTM UKM), specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology & Oncofertility.
He currently served as one of the reproductive specialists in Advanced Reproductive Center (ARC) HCTM UKM and also our Visiting Reproductive Specialist in Sunfert@Bangsar South. In addition to reproductive medicine, he is also interested in the oncofertility field. In 2019, he initiated the oncofertility services under ARC by managing fertility preservation (FP) for oncology cases.
Subsequently, he received Takeda Science Foundation Award to pursue his oncofertility fellowship under St Marianna School of Medicine Hospital, Kanagawa, Japan. His training mainly in the cryobiology field; In-vitro Maturation (IVM), and Ovarian Tissue Cryopreservation (OTC). He obtained the credentialing in IVM & OTC and currently initiated these services under ARC as part of oncofertility services.
He currently serves as Vice President of Malaysian Society of Fertility Preservation (MSFP) and as Board Member of Asian Society of Fertility Preservation (ASFP) representing Malaysia.
He has conducted research, published several papers in reproductive medicine and oncofertility, and presented in national and international congresses.
